With our limited rehearsal time, it is imperative that we make the best out of each rehearsal.As a member of the Titan Band, you have an obligation to your fellow band members to be at all band rehearsals on time, prepared, and with all necessary equipment.
All band students must abide by the Luther-BurbankHigh School attendance policies.
Attendance is required at all rehearsals, sectionals, and performances.
Absences and tardiness will be excused in the following cases:
Medical emergency or personal emergency Death in family Religious holiday
Examples of unexcused absences and tardiness include, but are not limited to work, over-sleeping, transportation not arranged, anything deemed unexcused by the attendance policy.
All absences and tardiness are to be reported by the parents in writing to the directors.In case of illness and family emergency, an explanatory telephone call to the director prior to the rehearsal or performance is appropriate.
Unexcused absences and tardiness may result in a grade reductionand a loss of performance status for thatweek.
